I would like to publicly announce my withdrawal from the Waterford Speedbowl lease. I appreciate everyone’s support and enthusiasm for my involvement. It is with great regret that I was unable to come to a mutually beneficial agreement with Mr. Eames. As many of you know, I have worked hard, and invested much energy and financial resources to see this deal come to fruition. However, despite good faith efforts on both parts, we were unable to reach an agreement and have, at this time, dissolved our potential partnership.
During the time in which I was working with Mr. Eames in anticipation of the partnership, I collected money on behalf of the Waterford Speedbowl. I want to assure all of those who have purchased their number registrations and/or season passes that the money has been turned over to Terry Eames as owner of the Waterford Speedbowl.
I understand many of you made those payments because you were hoping I would be involved and running the Speedbowl; and I can assure you I’m as disappointed as you are. However, the money had to be turned over legally as criminal charges could have resulted in my holding checks made out to Waterford Speedbowl without having any authority to cash them.
I would again like to thank you all for your support.
